Le Marche: Italy’s hidden gem
Nestled in the heart of Italy, between the azure Adriatic Sea and the rugged Apennine Mountains, lies Le Marche.
This diverse region on the east coast stretches across five provinces: Pesaro Urbino, Ancona, Macerata, Fermo, and Ascoli Piceno.
Here, you'll find a varied landscape of rolling hills, unspoiled nature, charming medieval villages, and lively coastal towns.
The coastline, spanning over 180 kilometres, offers a wonderful mix of wide sandy beaches, secluded coves, and dramatic cliffs, such as those at Monte Conero.
In Le Marche, you'll discover the real Italy: pure, welcoming, and still untouched by mass tourism.

Nature – from sunflower fields to rugged mountains
The landscape of Le Marche subtly changes as you travel further inland.
In the north, you'll encounter lush green hills and fertile fields, while the south feels increasingly Mediterranean, with sprawling olive groves and even palm trees along the coast.
The region is a paradise for nature lovers.
Think endless vineyards, golden sunflower fields, and forested mountain slopes perfect for hiking or cycling.
In the Apennines, you'll find spectacular nature parks such as Monti Sibillini, where you can hike past crystal-clear mountain lakes and towering peaks.

Climate – a perfect holiday destination in every season
Le Marche enjoys a pleasant climate, ranging from a Mediterranean coastal climate to a more continental climate inland.
In spring, the region turns a fresh green, with nature bursting into bloom early and temperatures ranging from 18 to 23 degrees Celsius.
The summer months are warm and sunny, with average temperatures around 29 degrees in July and August – perfect for a day at the beach or a refreshing swim in the sea.
